The Ekiti State Government on Thursday urged coordinating principals of secondary colleges in Ekiti State to work in direction of guaranteeing that college students in public colleges within the state report a minimal of 85 per cent success in certificates examinations.

The Executive Secretary of the state Teaching Service Commission, Mr Alani Daramola, mentioned the cost was to justify authorities’s funding within the training sector.

Daramola, who spoke in Ado Ekiti at a gathering with the principals within the 16 Local Government Areas, additionally urged them to make sure that lecturers focus extra on certificates courses and the important thing topics.

Daramola added that TESCOM would sensitise the scholars on the necessity for them to be diligent and attend courses repeatedly and punctually whereas officers from the fee would go to the colleges to watch actions of the scholars and lecturers.
