A non-governmental organisation, Touchme Foundation, mentioned it is going to assist efforts at tackling insecurity in Nigeria by giving free schooling to some underprivileged youngsters in public faculties.

The president and founding father of the non-governmental organisation, Ademuyiwa Oduwole, in an interview with our correspondent on Thursday mentioned the bandits, insurgents and different criminally minded individuals normally recruit illiterate youngsters from rural areas due to their vulnerability.

He mentioned the purpose of his group was to help in tackling the issue of poverty and illiteracy by offering welfare and primary schooling for the underprivileged.

Oduwole, who mentioned the group, based in March 23, 2020, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, had reached out to many internally displaced individuals camped in varied locations within the Federal Capital Territory.

He mentioned, “We will unveil a special fund tagged, ‘Save a Child Education,’ which is a free primary education programme for children to be enrolled in government primary schools across the country.”
