An upcoming artist impersonates Wizkid, reported to be making 30 million naira for gaining massive confusion streams across digital stores.
A strange news that sees an upcoming artist from Lagos, identified as WiseKid plagiarising Wizkid content circulates social media today. It is reported that a young man who has “Wise Kid” as his moniker has been duplicating, plagiarising and copyrighting starboy Wizkid name and contents since October 2020.
An Artist named Wisekid has been making N30 million monthly since October 2020 by copying Wizkid's music on Apple Music & Amazon.

According to a statistics released on Twitter, he made millions of streams on Apple Music and Amazon and AfricaFactsZone alleged that the young singer was making a staggering sum of N30 million every month since October 2020, while pirating Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” album, the singer named his own version “Lasgidi Made”.
Lasgidi Made doesn’t look or sound as piracy to Made In Lagos but the accused went as far as naming the tracks in his Lasgidi Made album the exact way Wizkid named and tracklisted his Made In Lagos — Now, that’s copyrighting or anything you can think of.
It doesn’t ends there, the perpetrator also plagiarised Machala’s instagram and twitter accounts, with boths bearing “WiseKidaya” – As of this moment, his twitter account has been deleted, he then changed his instagram username.
In other news, some troops alleged that FreeMeDigital was responsible for the distribution of WiseKid Lasgidi Made album but the media house immediately debunked the rumour and revealed songs the singer distributed through their platform.
This guy and his Music Distributor @freemedigital do have a lot of questions to answer… Such FRAUDSTERS….

FreeMeTV also stated ever since, that his account and contents has been deleted from their website and digital stores respectively.

However, Wizkid and his team are yet to release any statement regarding the issue but we assumed the superstar singer would file a lawsuit against his impersonator. Fingers crossed till official statement is made from Starboy camp.
